The child was first transported to Chandler Regional Hospital and subsequently airlifted to Phoenix Children’s Hospital, where he remains in critical condition .
The incident has sparked discussions about pool safety and the importance of supervision, especially for young children. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, drowning is a leading cause of accidental death among children under five, often occurring silently and swiftly.
